Practitioners of Dahn Yoga often report that through their practice, their family life improves.

The crisis that we are facing today stems from our failure to adhere to the three rules of peace. A devastating result of this is our tendency to see everything in parts, to divide everything into “me” and the rest of the world. Another tragic result of disregard for these rules is the prevalence of human selfishness and egotism. This is none other than the proverbial “fall from grace” or expulsion from the Garden of Eden.

The concepts of “the fall from grace” and “moral corruption” denote none other than our disrespect for the rules of harmonious order and peace. Original Sin refers not to Adam and Eve’s eating of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, but to our forgetfulness regarding ihc rules <>l h.innony and order that run the universe and all of life. Selfishness and egotism are direct evidence ot our collective divine lall. Our disregard for the rules of harmonious order has led us dircc. My to ihe current crisis, or lack of peace. This is nothing less than a crisis of human identity and of human survival.

Dr. Ilchi Lee says that if our fall from divine grace is the result ol our disregard for the rules of harmonious order, then we can expect recovery of our true nature to begin when follow them once again. However, recovering our capacity to observe the rules will not happen without effort on our part. This is a matter of intellect, understanding, and awareness, by individual and collective choice.

Peace will not occur magically because one or two individuals awaken to the truth of the nature of harmony and order. Peace will only prosper when the principle ol harmonious order becomes common sense, rather than a novel idea. Therefore, Peaceology suggests that the solution lies in education in all its forms, for unless there is a fundamental change in human beings, changes in government and social policy will have little effect. This is why I say in my book Healing Society, that enlightenment is the answer lor building a peaceful world.
